The Tribe Rugby standout is going to be a Royal

Lilly Fillyaw has signed to play collegiate rugby at Queens University of Charlotte.
"Queens University of Charlotte welcomes Lilly Fillyaw as the newest member of the Queens Rugby family for the Fall of 2022," the team wrote on their Facebook page. "She will certainly add power to the set pieces, as well as unbridled enthusiasm for competing alongside her friends & teammates. Congratulations Lilly, and welcome to Queens!"
Fillyaw is from Athens, TN where she attends McMinn County High School. She plays high school rugby with East Tennessee's Tribe Rugby FC and had some playing opportunities with the USA South Panthers.
"We are beyond excited for [Fillyaw] and her family!" Tribe Rugby wrote in an Instagram post. "We are so proud of Lilly.
At Queens, Fillyaw will be a dual-sport athlete by competing in the school's rugby and track & field program.
