Calling all Tennessee Sevens Players - Open Tryouts For Professional Sevens League

Premier Rugby Sevens is looking for Tennessee players to come try out in Charlotte

Are you looking to break into professional rugby? Here is the perfect opportunity to see if you have what it takes.

On February 20, Premier Rugby Sevens, a new North American professional sevens league will be holding open tryouts for Tennessee rugby players in Charlotte.

The league is deemed by USA Rugby to be the highest level of domestic seven-a-side rugby. Players like Logan Tago (former player of MLR's Utah Warriors), and Aaron Cummings received opportunities to play with the USA Eagles Sevens squad after Premier Rugby's inaugural event.

Not only are male players encouraged to try out, but female players are invited as well. When they played the 2021 debut tournament, the PR 7s Women's teams made history: they helped the league to become the first U.S. sports league to debut with men and women earning equal pay. They also were the first professional women's rugby league in North America.

Mike Tolkin, former head coach of MLR's Rugby United New York, is the league's General Manager and will be heavily recruiting players at these tryouts.
